Jon Leidecker (aka Wobbly) makes music with anything that listens, charting the shrinking distances between music and recordings, as well as musicians and their tools. Recent collaborations include: Negativland, Thurston Moore Group, Jennifer Walshe, Phipps Pt., and Cheryl E. Leonard. Workshops on the secret histories of electronic music have been presented at Oxford, Stanford, Mills, UC Berkeley and Peabody, and his nine hour overview of sampling and collage, ‘Variations’, is hosted online by the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art.
