Composer, filmmaker, conceptual artist, media activist, radical mathematician, and more, Tony Conrad (1940–2016) was one the most inspiring artists of his time. Completely in the Present portrays Conrad in his impishly intellectual glory and documents his interventions and innovations in the fields of avant-garde filmmaking, underground music and emergence in the 1990s as a central figure in contemporary music and culture. (2016, 95 min, digital). Program begins with the short film Straight and Narrow (1970, 10 min, 16mm) by Beverly and Tony Conrad.
