Screechy, skronky and not for the meek, this film presents downtown New York’s
most cutting-edge artists, from Velvet Underground veteran John Cale on his
Sabotage tour, to James Chance and the Contortions, Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, DNA, Lounge Lizards, and Sun Ra. The eclectic soundscapes of Richard Strange and Z’ev round out the noise fest. (1975-80, approx. 80 min, digital)
