Get paid to explore a career in the arts, learn new skills and improve your college readiness, while working with San Francisco arts organizations.
The Arts Internship is a nationally affiliated program that invites rising high school seniors in San Francisco to a transformative summer program (with an option to extend to the school year). Engage in paid work experiences at arts and cultural institutions, coupled with professional development sessions, cultural activities, and college readiness workshops.
Through the Arts Internship program, you will become familiar with workplace culture and processes and improve your communication skills. By exploring cultural organizations throughout San Francisco, you will develop critical life and work skills and prepare for transition to college. Additionally, the Arts Internship aims to ensure that participating students develop critical professional skills and are prepared to enter the workforce. You will not only gain valuable experience, but also receive compensation at a competitive living wage of $27/hour.
The Arts Internship program is funded by a national philanthropic organization.
Join us for a seven-week, full-time (30 hours/week) paid internship from June 10 to August 2, 2024.
The Summer program is followed by the 2024-2025 School Year Program, where select interns who participated in the summer program can continue their internship from September through May for up to 6 hours per week.
