As Chief Marketing Officer, Valerie oversees YBCA’s brand marketing, communications, and visitor experience efforts.

She is an award-winning marketing leader with 15 years of experience in audience development, growing viewership, event attendance and revenue for brands such as NBC Universal’s Bravo Network and Universal Music Group. As Bravo’s first marketing hire, Valerie developed marketing campaigns for new original series such as Project Runway, Top Chef, and The Real Housewives. Before YBCA, Valerie served as Head of Marketing for Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, implementing a storytelling-driven brand content strategy that connected donors to their impact, producing record-breaking fundraiser revenues. She is a proud mentor and supporter of the San Francisco arts community.
