Chief of Staff
David Owens-Hill is an experienced nonprofit administrator with experience across higher education, artist residency, and cultural organizations. He brings experience in brand and storytelling, fundraising, design and communications, strategic planning, operations, and project management in the uniquely challenging environments of mission-driven organizations. Specifically, David is an expert at change management, requiring nuanced understanding of complex issues, and the best, most sustainable, path to flip challenges into opportunities.
In addition to Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, he has worked with McColl Center for Visual Art, Queens University, Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, San Francisco Symphony, New York School of Interior Design, ArtCalifornia College of the Arts, and Art Center College of Design.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in fine art with an emphasis in design, and a master’s degree in Strategic and Organizational Communication.
