    A young artist whose talents have been showcased by the likes of Herbie Hancock and Terence Blanchard, Beninese guitarist Lionel Loueke is a riveting performer who artfully integrates percussive, chiming harmonics, idiosyncratic tunings, and wondrously intricate time signatures. His latest Blue Note project, Mwaliko, features his longstanding trio with drummer Ferenc Nemeth and bassist Massimo Biolcati. Without question, Loueke is one of the hottest young stars in the jazz world.
